Most classes have one lead teacher and one assistant teacher. Classes with less than 10 students may have only one certified lead teacher. All lead teachers are certified Montessori educators.  The Montessori certification process is in addition to other early childhood credentials.  Accepted accreditation can come from one of the following: Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), American Montessori Society (AMS) or North American Montessori Teachers Association (NAMTA).

We offer flexibility for parents requiring specific arrival and dismissal times through our extended day programs and flexible hours for Primary, Pre-K students.

Tuition and Fees for the 2013 – 2014 School Year

Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, Elementary and Junior High 
5 School Days Per Week (8:15 am to 3:00 pm):  $1078 per month
5 School Days Per Week Extended Day PreK and K (7-10 Hours):  $1143 per month
5 School Days Per Week Extended Day Elementary (7-10 Hours):  $1156

Academic Facts

Students participate in standardized testing from 3rd Grade, but tests do not drive curriculum.

All of our curriculums meet or exceed Illinois state academic requirements.

PE instruction is provided for all students five days per week.

Art is a big part of academic work in Montessori. Art study and theory is instructed twice a month.

Additional Enrichment

String Orchestra Music Lessons: Violin, Cello, Viola, Bass: Ages 4 and up.

Spanish: All Ages.
Mandarin: All Ages.

Chess: Ages 5 and up.

Yoga: All Ages.

Students must be potty trained to begin our Primary Program

Students come for a visit with our teachers before enrollment.
